For zones with high loads (delivery bays, heavy vehicles, loading docks), we can specify polymer-modified binders or high-performance mixes to enhance durability, resist deformation, and improve long-term performance under stress.
Absolutely. We often carry out phased resurfacing, carefully cutting and preparing the edges of partial works, applying bonding or tack coats, and matching levels and texture so transitions between old and new tarmac appear seamless and perform structurally.
It’s critical. Most failures occur at the base or substrate. We assess loadings, soil conditions, drainage, and design a sub-base accordingly (with suitable thickness, compaction, stabilisation, geotextile layers, etc.). Ensuring that foundation is solid is essential before laying the tarmac surface.
